The University of Cincinnati’s Online Medical Information Systems Technology Program has been awarded Exemplary Program Accreditation through Quality Matters and is nationally recognized. This program is designed and led by UC Clermont faculty and delivered in partnership with UC Online.
UC’s Online AAS HIS Program is one of only four programs nationwide to achieve Exemplary Program status through Quality Matters, the world’s leading organization for quality assurance in online teaching and learning environments. Joined the elite group.
QM Exemplary Program certification is obtained through a rigorous review process that tests learner performance to ensure a high rate of student success. All 21 courses in the AAS HIS program curriculum were thoroughly reviewed to ensure that each course met her QM’s quality standards. To achieve the highest of her QM status, Accredited Exemplary Program, AAS HIS sets her QM standards in her four main online areas: program design, teaching support, learner support and learner success. meets or exceeds.

The AAS HIS program was launched in 2013 as UC Clermont’s first online program. Currently, the program serves students from her 48 states and abroad. Ranquish said online education is particularly appealing to adult learners who need flexibility in both schedule and location, such as spouses of military personnel. Most UC Clermont online students work full-time and take care of their families and children.
“Ten years ago, many people were convinced that a quality online learning experience was impossible,” Ranquish says. “We have proven this wrong by providing the highest level of student and faculty support, including high-quality course design, extensive training resources, and unlimited technical support. The program opens the door to those who cannot get an education due to conflicting responsibilities, schedules and physical locations.”
Looking ahead, Lanquisch said the University of California, Clermont will further expand its online program offerings to include additional undergraduate degrees, professional certifications, and microcertifications. Coupled with affordable college tuition (nearly half that of most colleges in Ohio), UC is well-positioned to remain at the forefront of the ever-evolving online learning environment.
