Saint Laurent Launches Fine Jewelery Collection

Saint Laurent celebrates its 62nd anniversary with the launch of its first fine jewelry collection.
The creative director of the French Maison, Anthony Vaccarello, has designed a collection of bracelets, cufflinks, necklaces and earrings following the sleek, linear design of his ready-to-wear collection. Signatures such as his Cassandre, the vertical logo of his YSL, and his Maillon, the oversized links of a chain, created in 1961. His motifs are cast in gold, diamonds, and other precious materials. I’m here. As with previous Saint Laurent seasons, the two motifs embody the brand’s sophisticated and edgy aesthetic. Accessories have always been available for purchase, but this collection, named ‘Saint Laurent Haute Joaillerie’, is the first to source fine metal.
Parts prices vary greatly. The ring is around $800, the choker is his around $4,000, and the necklace is around $1,000. For those looking to spend the big bucks, the cuff soars to around $42,000.
Metal plays a prominent role in Vaccarello’s ready-to-wear collections, often contrasting with the black and white color palette used for shirts, blazers and other garments. The campaign embodies this with models who seem to be gardening in gossamer black fabrics and pieces from Fine’s jewelery collection.
The collection is available online and in select flagship stores worldwide. To learn more about the collection or to purchase, please visit saintlaurent.com.
