Nearly 20 positions filled at Prince Albert, Nipawin and La Longe online schooling campuses

A principal has been hired for the Nipawin campus, and four of the seven teaching positions have already been hired.
As for the La Longe campus, the state has already hired a headmaster and nine teachers, and plans to hire a further teacher.
Saskatchewan Education Minister Dustin Duncan said, “Our government is very pleased with the level of interest teachers have shown in working with new online schools.” “We look forward to bringing together the best talent from across the state to provide high-quality, flexible online education for our students, no matter where they live in the state.”
The state also plans to hire student support staff at each campus. Provide direct support to students, both in person and online.
We are also hiring people in charge of finance, information technology, human resources and communications.
Meanwhile, students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 can still enroll online.
You can choose to be a full-time or part-time online student. They will continue to connect with local school departments and have access to community supports and activities such as speech pathologists and educational psychology assessments.
The Sask DLC is also free for all children under the age of 22.
“Sask DLC is thrilled to see so many students across the state accessing online learning,” said Sask DLC CEO Darren Gasper. “More courses means more opportunities for students to find subjects they love and set them up for a successful future.”
