Virginia – Maeli Zadra of Virginia was recently named one of the Minnesota Connections Academy (MNCA) Student of the Month for her achievements and leadership in the virtual classroom.

Maeri, a public online school freshman, was named a teacher for her hard work and determination to learn in a virtual classroom. As a student of the month, Maeli will receive her Certificate of Achievement and be featured on Minnesota’s Connections, her Academy’s Student Newsletter and the school’s social media her platform.

“Our students this month are becoming powerful role models for their peers, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to leadership and learning,” said Brad Swanson, School Leader, Minnesota Connections Academy. “Our faculty and staff are proud to give these virtual classroom leaders the recognition they deserve.”

Mehri’s father, Mike, said his daughter chose to enroll at the Minnesota Connections Academy after discovering she liked learning in virtual classrooms during the pandemic. He appreciates being able to watch her daughter grow in an online classroom from her home, and being able to interact one-on-one with her teachers.

At Minnesota Connections Academy, students receive an online education that is personalized to their needs.
