Idaho Technical Career Academy students are ready for their future

The Idaho Technical Career Academy (ITCA) is a statewide online public school for grades 9-12 with a focus on career preparation soon to start the rest of their lives. The Idaho Technical Career Academy will celebrate the graduates in person with a graduation ceremony on May 30, 2023 at 4:00 PM Montana time.

The 2023 class, which includes more than 34 graduates, reported being admitted to colleges, colleges and universities across the country, as well as several branches of the military. Many students either stay in the job or continue the job they held in high school.

Maren Kacinelli is ITCA’s 2023 valedictorian and will attend the Calvary Chapel Bible Institute on Kauai, Hawaii. Brynn Borschweiler is a class salute and plans to attend Brigham Young University in Idaho. The keynote speaker for the live ceremony will be Tami Beach, a Hewlett-Packard executive and adjunct professor at Boise State University.

ITCA graduates have crossed the finish line of graduation and are ready for life’s next adventure.

Before the pandemic hit, students were enrolled in virtual schools for a variety of reasons. Some students want to escape bullying, others have fallen astray academically, and others have been looking for alternatives to the traditional classroom environment.

In grades 9-12, ITCA students access a robust online curriculum of core subjects and numerous electives, and participate in live virtual classes taught by state-certified teachers.

The Idaho Technical Career Academy invites family and friends from around the world to attend this celebration.
